See what people have to say about their experience of working with The Social Brokers.
Working with the Social Brokers has been nothing but a positive and motivational experience. They have opened many doors and made invaluable introductions that have allowed us to support our unique community in a much more impactful and purposeful way.
The Social Brokers have been an exceptional force in bridging the gap between business, academia, and the community. Their commitment to fostering collaboration is evident in every project they undertake. By creating meaningful partnerships, they have successfully aligned the innovative thinking of academic institutions with the practical needs of businesses, all while ensuring the community remains at the heart of their efforts.
The Social Brokers connect real time issues in deprived communities to academic researchers in public health, social justice & forensic psychology. This allows policy change makers to see and hear firsthand accounts of the issues people face in marginalised areas. They also help to join the dots between academia, community, and business by engaging local and national organisations to help and fund projects to level up from the bottom up.
The Social Brokers represents exactly what we need to achieve a social justice: working at grass-roots level to build connections that empower and prioritise communities and protect those who are vulnerable. The School of Law and Social Justice at the University of Liverpool are proud to be associated with this organisation, to learn from them and to combine our respective skills and resources to build a better society.

The project aims to identify families who may be experiencing fuel poverty, struggling with the cost-of-living crisis, or dealing with issues that come with living in a left-behind area.
The Social Brokers‘ aim is to join the dots between working partners and create stronger families in the Kirkdale community.
