Malik Karkar

Multilingual Communication & Support Services Expert

Malik, who speaks 12 languages and dialects, is passionate about helping people learn English and build confidence in their everyday lives. With years of experience supporting non-English speakers, he brings patience, warmth, and a deep understanding of the challenges learners face. His ESOL sessions are engaging, supportive, and focused on giving learners the skills they need to thrive in their communities.

This course is perfect for complete beginners. We help you build confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in English for everyday life.  

You will learn:  

  • Everyday vocabulary 
  • Simple conversation and speaking skills 
  • Listening and understanding English 
  • Basics of reading and writing 

 

Improve your everyday English and grow your confidence. Make friends, feel part of the community, and take steps towards work or further learning. 

Courses are 6 weeks (+ a celebration session to finish) and typically run 09:30am – 12:30pm on Fridays.
